Camshaft drive

Order of an inhaling of bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders

The engine is removed from the car

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To turn out a bolt of fastening of an adjusting level of the generator to a block head.
2. To remove the top cover 8 (see fig. Camshaft drive) cam-shaft drive.
3. To uncover 5 (see fig. Head of the block of cylinders) heads of the block and laying 4.
4. To remove an inlet pipe and a final collector.
5. To turn a cranked shaft so that the piston of the first cylinder was established in VMT of a course of the compression, thus both valves are closed. The label on a cogwheel of a cam-shaft should coincide with a label on a block head, as is shown in fig. Adjustment of a tension of a belt of a drive of a camshaft. After that to turn the crankshaft on a turn quarter counter-clockwise that any of pistons was not in VMT.
6. To weaken a belt 3 tension. For this purpose slightly to unscrew three bolts of 1 fastening of the water pump and to turn the pump to the block of cylinders.
7. To remove a belt from a cam-shaft cogwheel.
8. To unscrew bolts 11 (see fig. Head of the block of cylinders) fastenings of a head of the block of cylinders. Bolts to turn on evenly as it should be, the return specified fig. Order of an inhaling of bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders.
9. To remove a head of the block of cylinders.
10. To remove laying 1 (see fig. Head of the block of cylinders) block heads.
11. After check and replacement of the damaged and worn-out details installation of a head of the block of cylinders make in return sequence. Thus it is necessary to replace laying of 1 head of the block and a cover of the 5th head of the block. Laying of 1 head of the block to put on a surface of the block of cylinders up the words "OBEN-TOP".
12. Before dressing a belt of a drive of a cam-shaft, to establish a cam-shaft, and then and the crankshaft in VMT.
13. To tighten bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders in the sequence shown on fig. An order of an inhaling of bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders, in four stages:
1st stage of 40 N · m (4,0 kgfs · м);
2nd stage of 60 N · m (6,0 kgfs · м);
The 3rd stage to tighten further on a turn quarter (90 °);
The 4th stage to tighten further on a turn quarter (90 °).
Prevention

To tighten bolts of fastening of a head of the block it is possible only on the cold engine.
14. After installation of a head of the block of cylinders to check and if it is necessary to adjust ignition and gaps in the valve the mechanism.

The engine is established on the car

In need of replacement or grinding in of valves, deposit cleanings in chambers of combustion, replacement of laying of a head of the block etc. it is possible to remove a block head, without removing the engine from the car.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect a wire from the "minus" plug of the storage battery.
2. To merge liquid from system of cooling of the engine (see subsection 2.4.1).
3. To remove the air filter.
4. To remove spring brackets and to disconnect from a final collector a reception pipe of the exhaust silencer.
5. To remove wires of a high voltage and to turn out candles.
6. To separate all electroconducting, ropes and the hoses suitable to a head of the block.
7. Further sequence same, as at the engine which has been removed from the car (see above).
