12.3. Starter

12.3.1. Starter removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect a wire from the "minus" plug of the storage battery.
Mechanical transmission
2. To disconnect wires from a starter, having marked them, for example, color insulating tape.
3. To turn off three bolts of fastening of a starter, using a key with shlitsa.
4. To remove a starter
Automatic transmission
5. To unscrew the top bolts of fastening of an arm.
6. To put the car on the parking brake.
7. To lift a forward part of the car and to establish on support.
8. To disconnect a semi-axis from a semi-axis flange from a starter (see subsection 7.2).
9. To unscrew nuts of fastening of the thermoinsulating screen.
10. To unscrew the bottom bolt of fastening of an arm and, having shifted the thermoinsulating screen back, to remove it.
11. To disconnect wires from clips 30 and the 50th starter.
12. To turn a steering wheel to the right.
13. To disconnect an arm of the heatinsulating screen from a starter, to take away a semi-axis back and to take out an arm up.
14. To turn a starter a gear wheel up and to take out it from below between the engine and a semi-axis.
