GENERAL INFORMATION

On a gear wheel of a drive there should not be забоин, broken teeths. Teeths of a gear wheel should not be worn-out. The gear wheel should be turned easily concerning a nave of the obgonny coupling, but only in the direction of rotation of a rotor at engine start.

1. To check by means of a lamp, whether there is no short circuit of a winding of a rotor on "weight". Tension through a lamp is brought to a shaft of a rotor and collector plates. If the lamp burns, it indicates winding short circuit on "weight". It is necessary to replace such rotor.

2. The special device to check, whether there is no short circuit between sections of a winding of a rotor or collector plates, and also whether there are no breaks in a place of a pripayka of conclusions of a winding to collector plates. In case of damage of a rotor to replace it.

3. To examine a collector surface. The polluted or burned collector to smooth out a fine-grained grinding skin. At considerable damage of a surface of a collector it can be pierced on the lathe, removing thus as little as possible metal.

4. To examine covers. If in them there are cracks, covers to replace. If bearings of sliding 7 and 11 are worn-out, to replace covers or bearings.
