Dismantling of the brake cylinder of back disk brakes

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To execute subitem 1–5 subsections 10.9.1.
2. Расконтрить a nut of a tip of a brake hose for simplification of further dismantle.
3. To remove a cap 25 (see fig. A back disk brake) from the valve 24 production of air.
4. To disconnect a rope 1 (see fig. Removal of a rope of the parking brake) the parking brake from the lever 2.
5. To turn off the top bolt 20 (see fig. A back disk brake) fastenings of the case 26 of the cylinder to a support 16, holding with a wrench directing core 21.
6. To turn off the bottom bolt 29.
7. To press a brake hose, watching to damaging it.
8. To unscrew a brake hose from the cylinder case, having substituted previously capacity.
9. To stop up an opening of a brake hose.
10. To turn out the valve 24 production of air from the cylinder case.
11. To remove a protective cap 17.
12. To unscrew the piston 18 of the cylinder by means of a shestigrannik.
13. To take out a cuff 19 of the cylinder.
Prevention

For removal of a cuff to use a wooden shovel. Application of metal subjects is undesirable, as can lead to seat damage under a cuff.

14. To wash out alcohol the piston and the cylinder.
15. To examine a working surface of the piston and the cylinder.
Prevention

At existence on working surfaces of the piston and the cylinder of wear tracks, jammings and забоин to replace the piston and the cylinder case in a set.

Assembly of the brake cylinder of back disk brakes

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To grease a new cuff 19 (see fig. A back disk brake) brake liquid and to establish it on a seat in the cylinder.
2. To put on a back part of the piston 18 (opposite to a pro-point) a protective cap 17.
3. To turn out an edge of a protective cap 17 outside.
4. To grease the piston 18 and a protective cap 17 with brake liquid.
5. To insert the piston 18 into the cylinder and to turn out back an edge of a protective cap 17 so that it was established in a cut on the cylinder case 26.
6. To screw accurately the piston 18 in the cylinder by means of a shestigrannik, thus the internal edge of a protective cap 17 should rise in a pro-point on the piston.
7. To screw in the cylinder case 26 the valve 24 production of air.
8. To establish the cylinder case 26 on a support 16.
9. To twirl a new bottom bolt 29, holding directing core.
10. To establish a brake hose on the case of the cylinder and законтрить a tip nut.
11. To remove a clip from a brake hose.
12. To twirl an old top bolt 20.
13. To execute subitem 18–23 subsections 10.9.1.
14. To pump over brake system.
