GENERAL INFORMATION

Before removal or dismantling of system of release it is necessary to moisten all bolts and connections by the liquid dissolving products of corrosion, for example WD 40.

Before any work with system of release wait, while it will cool down not to get burns.

To check release system on leaks it is possible as follows. To start the engine, the assistant should close an exhaust pipe a rag for short time, and during this moment to examine system.

In need of replacement of any knot of system of release it can appear simpler to remove all system from the car, and then to disassemble it.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect a reception pipe 9 (see fig. System of production of the fulfilled gases) from a final collector 12. For this purpose at engines in volume of 1,6 and 1,8 l it is necessary to unclench the special adaptation spring brackets 10 and to remove them. At engines 1,1 and 1,3 of l to unscrew two bolts and to remove semicircular brackets.
2. At engines 1,1 and 1,3 of l to unscrew an arm of fastening of a reception pipe 9 to a transmission.
3. To remove rings 1 and 3 and to remove all system of release from the car.
4. If pipes of system of release do not manage to be separated, they can be warmed up in junctions a blowtorch.
5. Before installation to grease all connections of system by means for sealing of system of release.
6. Подсобрать a pipe 9 with additional exhaust silencers 7 and 6, without tightening finally bolts of collars.
7. To establish a reception pipe 9 on a final collector 12, having replaced thus a sealing ring 11. At engines in working volume of 1,6 and 1,8 l by means of the special adaptation to establish spring brackets 10. If there is no adaptation, it is possible to unclench brackets 10, having hammered into them a metal wedge in thickness of 4 mm. To unclench brackets 10 it is necessary so that they could be put on a flange of a reception pipe and a flange of a final collector. If brackets 10 to unclench very strongly, they can be broken or they will cease to clamp a reception pipe in a final collector. At engines in working volume of 1,1 and 1,3 l to put on a flange of a reception pipe and a flange of a final collector semicircular brackets and to wrap coupling bolts, without tightening them it is final.
8. At engines in working volume of 1,1 and 1,3 l to insert a bolt of fastening of a reception pipe of the exhaust silencer to an arm on a transmission. To turn, but not to tighten a nut.
9. To establish a ring 1 and to suspend on it the exhaust silencer 6.
10. To suspend the exhaust silencer 2 on rings 1 and 3.
11. To attach the exhaust silencer 2 to the exhaust silencer 6 by means of a collar 5. Fastening finally not to tighten.
12. Shaking here and there, to achieve, that all knots of system of release hung absolutely freely. To check, that all knots had a sufficient distance to chassis and body floor units that rings 1 and 3 were evenly loaded.
13. At engines in working volume of 1,1 and 1,3 l to tighten bolts of fastening of a reception pipe 9 to a final collector and to a transmission arm the moment of 25 N · m (2,5 kgfs · м).
14. With effort to take away the exhaust silencer 6 so that the ring 1 appeared tense forward the car on 5 mm.
15. To tighten bolts of collars the moment of 25 N · m (2,5 kgfs · м).
