GENERAL INFORMATION

Vacuum pump

1–union;

2–case;

3–drive gear wheel

On models of cars with diesel engines in the vacuum amplifier the ryazrezheniye is created by the vacuum pump with a drive from an intermediate shaft of the engine.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect a flexible hose from the union 1 (see fig. Vacuum pump).
2. To turn off a bolt 15 (see fig.) and to remove details of system of greasing of the diesel engine the holder 16.
3. To remove the vacuum pump 17 with laying 18 and a gear wheel of a drive 19.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To establish the vacuum pump with a gear wheel of a drive 19 and new laying 18 on the engine block so that the ledge on an axis of the oil pump got to a groove on an axis of the vacuum pump.
2. To establish the holder 16 and to twirl a bolt the 15th moment of 25 N · m.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect a flexible hose from the union 1 (see fig. Vacuum pump).
2. To start the engine.
3. To close an opening of the union and to check, whether the ryazrezheniye is created. If it does not occur – to replace the vacuum pump.
