GENERAL INFORMATION

Template for adjustment of the mechanism of gear shifting

1–special VW 3104 template;

2–lever of the mechanism of gear shifting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To establish a transmission in neutral situation.

2. To turn off the handle 1.

3. To remove a cover 11.

4. To weaken a bolt of 31 collars 29 so that the shaft of the 15th mechanism of gear shifting freely moved.

5. To establish the special VW3104 template (see fig. A template for adjustment of the mechanism of gear shifting), thereby having centered position of the lever of 2 gear shiftings.

6. To tighten a bolt 31 (see fig. Gear shifting mechanism) collar 29.

7. To check correctness of gear shifting.

8. To establish a cover 11.

9. To twirl the handle 1.

ADJUSTING CLOWN

Since January, 1991 instead of the spherical hinge on the lever of gear shifting establish the adjusting clown (see subsection 5.2.4).
