GENERAL INFORMATION

Fuel pump
1–fuel filter;
2–sealing ring;
3–mesh filter;
4–pump tank;
5–a tube from the fuel accumulator to the fuel filter;
6–a tube from the pump to the fuel accumulator;
7–fuel accumulator;
8–a tube plum from the fuel distributor;
9–a tube fuel plum in a fuel tank;
10-a tube of supply of fuel from a fuel tank;

The fuel pump is established together with the fuel filter and the fuel accumulator under the car bottom before a fuel tank.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove a wire from the "minus" plug of the storage battery.
2. To establish the car over a viewing hole or to raise a back part.
3. To disconnect from the pump a block with wires.
4. To unscrew the shock-absorber 17.
5. To unscrew a bolt 16 and to disconnect from the pump a tube 6.
6. To unscrew nuts and to remove a plate 18.
7. To unscrew three screws and to remove a ring 21.
8. To take out the pump 22, a sealing ring 2 and the filter 3.

Establish the pump upside-down taking into account the following:

 – to replace a sealing ring 2, before installation to grease it with gasoline;
 – at installation of a ring 21 ledges on the pump should enter into ring dredging;
 – if the returnable valve 19 acts in film, it is necessary to replace a sealing ring 20, to tighten the valve the moment of 20 N · m (2,0 kgfs · м);
 – to replace sealing washers of a tube 6;
 – to tighten the shock-absorber 17 the moment of 20 N · m (2,0 kgfs · м);
 – to start the engine and to check, whether there are no traces of a podtekaniye of fuel.

Prevention

Operation of the fuel pump if in it there is no fuel since fuel is a greasing and cooling element for the fuel pump is forbidden. If the pump to start without fuel, it can fail and even to light up.
