2.2.1.8. Flywheel

GENERAL INFORMATION

On cars with an automatic transmission instead of a flywheel the driving disk is established.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To block a flywheel, having inserted the suitable metal lever into teeths of a wreath of a flywheel.

2. Evenly to unscrew bolts of fastening of a flywheel on 1–2 turns.

3. To turn out bolts and to remove a flywheel from a cranked shaft.

4. After removal to examine a flywheel. If on it there are cracks, wear scars on a surface on which the coupling disk nestles, or wreath teeths are damaged, a flywheel to replace. It is necessary to consider that on a new flywheel the label of VMT representing "0" is put only. Therefore it is necessary to put on a flywheel a label of an advancing of ignition the same as on an old flywheel.

5. To establish a flywheel upside-down. Before installation to put on a carving of bolts glue for carving connections of "D6". Bolts to twirl evenly cross-wise and to tighten the moment of 75 N · m (7,5 kgfs · м) (if bolts with a fillet, the moment of an inhaling of 100 N · м).

6. If the driving disk was replaced, it is necessary to check and if it is necessary to adjust its situation. The distance from a back wall of the block of cylinders to an adjusting surface of the hydrotransformer on a driving disk should be 30,5–32,1 mm. To adjust the provision of a driving disk it is possible installation between it and the crankshaft of an adjusting washer.
