GENERAL INFORMATION

Considering from a cam-shaft drive:

 – valves No. 1, 3, 5, 7 – inlet;
 – valves No. 2, 4, 6, 8 – final.

Gaps in a drive of valves on the cold engine (the temperature of cooling liquid is lower 35 ° C) make:

 – inlet valve 0,10 + 0,05 mm;
 – final valve 0,20 + 0,05 mm.

Gaps in a drive of valves on the hot engine (temperature of cooling liquid 80 ° C) make:

 – inlet valve 0,15 + 0,05 mm;
 – final valve 0,25 + 0,05 mm.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To uncover 5 (see fig. Head of the block of cylinders) block heads.
2. To turn a cranked shaft so that both cams of a camshaft on the checked cylinder were directed up.
3. By Shchup to measure a gap between a cam of a cam-shaft and the valve lever 10 (see fig. Camshaft and valves).
4. If the gap differs from specified above, rotation of an adjusting bolt 9 to establish a demanded gap. The gap is considered established correctly if ωσο moves ahead with appreciable effort.
5. In the same way to adjust gaps for other cylinders.
6. To establish a cover of a head of the block.
