GENERAL INFORMATION

Cranked shaft and block of cylinders

1–block of cylinders;
2–top loose leaf of the radical bearing;

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect rods from a cranked shaft. If it is necessary to remove only a cranked shaft, the head of the block and pistons with rods can be not removed.
2. To remove the oil pump (cм. subsection 2.2.1.11).
3. To remove the holder 3 (see fig. The block of cylinders and a case) a back epiploon of a cranked shaft (see subsection 2.2.1.9).
4. To measure shchupy an axial gap of a cranked shaft between a cheek of an average neck of a cranked shaft and a persistent half ring 10 (see fig. Cranked shaft and block of cylinders). It should be within 0,07–0,18 mm. Limiting admissible gap of 0,20 mm.
5. To unscrew bolts 8 and to remove covers of 9 radical bearings with loose leaves 10, previously having marked their situation. On covers 9 numbers of bearings are beaten out, the cover No. 1 should be from a cam-shaft drive.
6. To remove a cranked shaft 11, to take out the loose leaf 2 of beds of radical bearings and persistent half rings 3, previously having marked their situation. To clear and wash out all details gasoline.

Check

To examine a cranked shaft. On working surfaces should not be having chopped off, забоин, scratches, etc. Small scratches can be polished and заполировать. To measure necks of radical and shatunny bearings. If they less nominal sizes (a radical neck – 53,958–53,978 mm, shatunny – 41,955–41,970 mm), them are necessary перешлифовать under the repair size. If on cranked to a shaft there are cracks, it is necessary to replace it.

Micrometer to check ovality of shatunny necks. If ovality exceeds 0,017 mm, прошлифовать necks under the repair size. To check palpation of a cranked shaft on an average radical neck. Admissible palpation of 0,03 mm; if palpation is more, the crankshaft to replace. To measure a gap between radical loose leaves and necks of a cranked shaft. For this purpose to establish into place loose leaves of radical bearings, having laid on them the crankshaft. On necks of a cranked shaft to put pieces of the plastic calibrated wire of "Plastigage", to establish covers of radical bearings with the loose leaves established in them and to tighten the moment of 65 N · m (6,5 kgfs · м). The crankshaft thus to turn. To remove covers of radical bearings and on size of flattening of a wire on a scale on packing to define gap size. Nominal gap of 0,03-0,08 mm. Maximum permissible gap of 0,17 mm. Similarly to measure a gap between shatunny loose leaves and necks of a cranked shaft. Nuts of fastening of shatunny covers to tighten the moment of 30 N · m (3,0 kgfs · м). A nominal gap of 0,03-0,076 mm. Maximum permissible gap of 0,095 mm.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To establish loose leaves of 2 radical bearings in a bed so that the ledge of the loose leaf entered into bed dredging, and the opening for supply of oil in the loose leaf coincided with an opening in a bed. Plentifully to grease loose leaves with the 2nd engine oil.
2. To establish persistent half rings 3. To grease them with engine oil.
3. To grease necks of a cranked shaft with engine oil and to lay the crankshaft on beds of radical bearings.
4. To establish in covers of 9 radical bearings loose leaves 7 and persistent half rings 10 and to grease with engine oil.
5. To establish a cover 9 average radical bearings, to insert bolts 8, to wrap and tighten the moment of 65 N · m (6,5 kgfs · м). To check, whether the cranked shaft freely rotates.
6. To establish and tighten covers of other bearings in the direction from the central bearing. After installation of the next cover to be convinced that the cranked shaft rotates freely.
7. To check an axial gap of a cranked shaft.
