3.2.7. Plate of a measuring instrument of a consumption of air

GENERAL INFORMATION

Height of lifting of a plate 18 (see fig. The system scheme вспрыска K-Jetronic fuels) depends on amount of the air submitted to cylinders of the engine: the more the air stream, the rises a plate above. Thus the lever 24 via the lever 25 moves the piston 22 up that leads to increase in amount of the fuel submitted to cylinders. When the stream of air decreases, the plate 18 falls and respectively moves down the piston 22, reducing supply of fuel. For the best smeseobrazovaniye the plate 18 should settle down precisely in the diffuzor center.

To adjust the provision of a plate it is possible as follows:

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To remove an air line 8 (see fig. The air filter and an inlet pipe of the engine with system of injection of fuel) together with the goffered tip, having released an inhaling of a collar 6.
2. If a plate 18 (see fig. The system scheme вспрыска K-Jetronic fuels) is displaced to weaken an inhaling of the screw of fastening of a plate. Inserting щуп in the thickness of 0,1 mm round a plate, to center it and to tighten the screw.
3. To lift and quickly to lower a plate 18 in a starting position. At movement down it should not be felt resistance. If resistance is felt, the measuring instrument of a consumption of air means is faulty and it is necessary to replace it.
4. If resistance is felt at plate movement up, to remove the distributor 12 (see fig. Elements of system of injection of K-Jetronic fuel) fuels to take out and wash out in gasoline the piston 14. If it does not help and resistance at movement of a plate will be felt, replace up the fuel distributor.
5. To dump pressure in the fuel distributor as it was described earlier (see subsection 3.2.6 item 4). Then to check the provision of a plate 18 (see fig. The system scheme вспрыска K-Jetronic fuels) in a diffuzor. The top side of a plate should be flush with a diffuzor side. It is allowed, that the plate was lower than a diffuzor side no more than on 0,5 mm.
	6. If the plate costs below or, on the contrary, diffuzor sides are higher, it is necessary to adjust the provision of a plate on height. For this purpose to lift a plate and to turn in the wire bracket located under it, as is shown in рисeунке.
7. After adjustment to check frequency of rotation of idling and contents level WITH in the fulfilled gases.
