3.1.8. Removal and installation of a fuel tank

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To disconnect a wire from the "minus" plug of the storage battery.

2. The pump to pump out fuel from a tank since the fuel tank has no drain stopper.

3. To disconnect from the sensor 16 of level of fuel a connecting block with wires and hoses 14 and 17 (see subsection 3.1.7).

4. To lift a jack a back part of the car and to establish on supports, to remove a back right wheel.

5. To unscrew bolts of the 5th fastening of a bulk pipe.

6. To establish under a fuel tank a jack. Between a jack and a tank to lay wooden laying.

7. To unscrew bolts of 3 fastenings of a fuel tank.

8. A jack to lower down a fuel tank and to extend it from under the car.

9. To establish a fuel tank upside-down. Bolts of 3 fastenings of a fuel tank to tighten the moment of 25 N · m (2,5 kgfs · м), and bolts of the 5th fastening of a bulk pipe – the moment of 10 N · m (1,0 kgfs · м).

10. If it is necessary to remove a broad tank 22, it is necessary to unscrew bolts of its fastening and to take out it from a wheel niche.
