3.1.4. Check of the valve of a temperature regulator

GENERAL INFORMATION

The valve 13 (see fig. The air filter of engines in working volume of 1,1 and 1,3 l) operates a temperature regulator zaslonka. At the faulty valve interruptions in operation of the engine idling in a warming up mode, interruption are possible at increase in frequency of the rotation, insufficient engine capacity, increases fuel consumption. The valve check on the cold engine. Zaslonka of a temperature regulator should turn easily, without jammings.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove the filter, without disconnecting hoses 9 and 24.
2. To start the engine and to leave to idle
3. To disconnect a hose 24 from the valve 13. Zaslonka of a temperature regulator should block supply of warm air.
4. To put on the valve 13 a hose 24. Zaslonka should turn and open access to warm air.
5. To disconnect a hose 24 from the valve 13. Zaslonka should turn and block supply of warm air. If it does not occur, the valve means is faulty and it is necessary to replace it.

On the warm engine, depending on air temperature, access of warm air can be blocked in whole or in part.
