Removal, installation and adjustment of draft of an air zaslonka
carburetor

Fastening of draft of an air zaslonka on the carburetor 31P1C-7

1–lever of an air zaslonka;
2–screw of adjustment of frequency of rotation of start-up of the engine;
3–control lever butterfly valve;
4–screw of fastening of a cable;
5–cable of draft of an air zaslonka;
6–arm of fastening of draft of an air zaslonka;
7–cover of draft of an air zaslonka;
And – a label on the lever of draft of an air zaslonka

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect a wire from the "minus" plug of the storage battery.
2. To remove the air filter.
3. To unscrew the screw 4 and the screw of an arm 6.
4. To take out draft from an arm 6 and the lever 1.
5. To remove the shelf under the dashboard from the driver.
6. To disconnect bent for fastening to a front board.
7. To extend draft in car salon.

Establish draft upside-down. Before installation of the air filter it is necessary to adjust draft.

Adjustment of a gap of an air zaslonka

1–draft of a diaphragm of a pneumodrive of an air zaslonka;

2–screw of adjustment of a gap of an air zaslonka;

3–drill;

4–air zaslonka of the carburetor

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. In the carburetor with manual podsosy to disconnect a cable 5 (see fig. Fastening of draft of an air zaslonka on the carburetor 31P1C-7) from the lever 1. To turn the lever 1 so that the air zaslonka was closed. To uncover 31 (see fig. Carburetor 31P1C-7 details) together with a bimetallic spring.
2. In the carburetor with automatic podsosy to uncover 31 with a bimetallic spring. To close an air zaslonka.
3. To drown draft of 1 diaphragm of a pneumodrive of an air zaslonka against the stop.
4. To measure a gap between an air zaslonka and a mouth. It should be equal 1,6–2,0 mm. It is possible to measure a gap by means of a drill.
5. If the gap does not keep within the specified limits, to adjust it screw 2 rotation, previously having removed from the screw a protective cap.
6. To establish into place a cover 31 (see fig. Carburetor 31P1C-7 details) so that the label on a cover coincided with a label on the carburetor case.
7. At carburetors with manual podsosy to connect a cable 5 (see fig. Fastening of draft of an air zaslonka on the carburetor 31P1C-7).

Adjustment of frequency of rotation of start-up of the engine

 
1–lever of an air zaslonka;
2–screw of adjustment of frequency of rotation of start-up of the engine;
And – a gap between the lever and the adjusting screw at completely open air zaslonka

At the carburetor with manual podsosy adjustment make in the following order:

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To connect to the engine a control tachometer.
2. Completely to extend the handle of draft of an air zaslonka (подсоса).
3. To start the engine and to check on a control tachometer frequency of rotation of start-up of the engine, it should make 2600±100 mines-1.
4. If frequency of rotation differs from specified, to adjust it screw 2 rotation (see fig. Fastening of draft of an air zaslonka on the carburetor 31P1C-7), having removed from it a protective cap (if it is established).

At the carburetor with automatic podsosy adjustment make in the following order:

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To connect to the engine a control tachometer.
2. To start the engine and to establish the screw 2 on the third tooth of the lever 1.
3. On a control tachometer to check frequency of rotation of start-up of the engine which should be 2600±100 mines-1.
4. If frequency of rotation differs from specified, to adjust it screw 2 rotation, having removed from it a protective cap.
5. Completely to open an air zaslonka and to measure a gap And between the lever 1 and the adjusting screw 2. The gap And should equal 0,2 mm.

Adjustment of the accelerating pump

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove the carburetor.
2. To uncover the carburetor, to fill the poplavkovy chamber with fuel and to establish a carburetor cover.
3. To put under the carburetor a measured beaker with a funnel.
4. Completely to open an air zaslonka and to stop it in this situation, for example, having adhered a wire.
5. Slowly to turn a butterfly valve from an emphasis against the stop 10 times, spending for each course about 3 with, putting these in action the accelerating pump.
6. To measure amount of fuel in a beaker and to divide on 10. Let's receive amount of fuel which submits the accelerating pump for one cycle. This value should make 0,85–1,1 cm3.
7. If necessary to adjust productivity of the accelerating pump a nut 1 or the screw 2.
8. To pay attention to that fuel from a spray was injected into a gap between a butterfly valve and a mouth. If it is necessary, it is possible to turn in a spray of the accelerating pump.

Adjustment of frequency of rotation of idling

Adjustment make on the heated-up engine with the adjusted gaps in the mechanism of a drive of valves and correctly established moment of ignition in the following order:

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect everything consumers of energy.
2. To disconnect from the air filter a hose of ventilation of a case and to muffle it.
3. To connect a control tachometer and a gas analyzer.
4. The adjusting screw 15 (see fig. Carburetor 31P1C-7 details) quantities of a mix to adjust frequency of rotation of the crankshaft of the engine, in limits 950±50 mines-1.
5. The adjusting screw 10 of quality (structure) of a mix to establish level of the maintenance of an oxide of carbon (WITH) in the fulfilled gases no more 1±0,5 to %.
6. To check and if necessary to restore frequency of rotation of idling. To check and if necessary to restore the contents WITH in the fulfilled gases.

Check of a warming element

To check warming element 4 (see fig.) it is possible for a carburetor 31P1C-7 detail, having disconnected its wire from a connecting block from above the carburetor. To a wire of an element to connect a bulb, the second wire from a bulb to connect to the positive plug of the storage battery. The bulb should burn. If the bulb does not burn, the warming element means is faulty and it is necessary to replace it.
