Carburetor 1В3 details

Removal and installation

1. To disconnect a wire from the "minus" plug of the storage battery.
2. To merge about a half of liquid of system of cooling of the engine (see subsection 2.4.1).
3. To remove the air filter (see subsection 3.1.2).
4. To disconnect an accelerator cable from the carburetor.
5. To disconnect hoses of system of cooling from the carburetor (if they are).
6. To disconnect from the carburetor electric wires, fuel and vacuum hoses.
7. To unscrew bolts or nuts of fastening of the carburetor to an exhaust pipe and to remove the carburetor. To remove carburetor laying.

Establish the carburetor in return sequence. At installation of the carburetor to replace laying.

Dismantling and assembly

1. To disconnect the lever of a drive of the accelerating pump.
2. To unscrew bolts of fastening of a cover of the carburetor to the case and to uncover 18. To remove laying 14.
3. To take out a float axis 15, to remove a float 16 and to take out the needle valve 22.
4. To turn out the main fuel jet 17.
5. To turn out a fuel jet of idling 20 and a fuel jet эконостата 19.
6. To remove the automatic starting arrangement 23.
7. To take out the accelerating pump 8.
8. To turn out the electromagnetic valve 5.
9. To remove warming element 1.
10. To turn out a spray 26 accelerating pumps, to turn out a spring 27 and the ball valve 28.
11. To turn out the screw of 4 adjustments of quality of a mix and the screw 7 of adjustment of quantity of a mix.
12. To remove an ekonomayzer of 6 moshchnostny modes.

All details of the carburetor to wash out gasoline, in the presence of plentiful resinous deposits to wash out details in acetone or in solvent for nitrovarnishes. It is forbidden to clean jets a wire, even soft not to break calibration. The washed-out details and channels of the carburetor to blow the compressed air. To replace the torn laying and sealing rings, and also the failed details.

Assemble the carburetor upside-down.

Dismantling and assembly of carburetors of other models is made similarly. At assembly of the carburetor it is necessary to consider the following:

Pierburg/Solex 1В3 carburetor

To check serviceability of the electromagnetic valve 5 (see fig.) it is possible for a carburetor 1В3 detail, having connected to the valve plug a food 12 In and having connected the valve case to "weight". The pin of the valve should be involved on 3–4 mm.

At installation of a fuel tube to check a gap "and" between the end of a tube and a surface of an air zaslonka, it should make 0,7–1,3 mm. If the gap differs, carefully to unbend a tube.

Pierburg/Solex 2Е2 and 2Е3 carburetors

At installation of a spray of the accelerating pump it should be located so that fuel got to dredging.

Pierburg/Solex 31P1C-7 carburetor

To check serviceability of the electromagnetic valve 12 (see fig.) it is possible for a carburetor 31P1C-7 detail, having drowned a valve pin on 3–4 mm. Then to connect to the plug of the valve 12 B and to connect the valve case to "weight", the crash and a pin thus should be heard should be put forward.

If the carburetor is equipped with the valve of an otsechka of fuel (such, as well as), it it is possible to check the valve 17 the same as the valve 17.
