Considering from a camshaft drive:
– valves No. 1, 3, 6, 8 – final;
– valves No. 2, 4, 5, 7 – inlet.
Gaps are regulated by means of adjusting washers which are made in the thickness from 3 to 4,25 mm with a step of 0,05 mm. The thickness is written on one party of a washer.
Gaps on the cold engine (at temperature of cooling liquid 20 ± 5 ° C) should be:
– for inlet valves 0,20 ± 0,05 of mm;
– for final valves 0,40 ± 0,05 of mm.
Gaps on the warm engine (at temperature of cooling liquid 35 ° With and above) should be:
– for inlet valves 0,25 ± 0,05 of mm;
– for final valves 0,45 ± 0,05 of mm.
Gaps in a drive of valves regulate on the warm engine at temperature of cooling liquid 35 ° With the ambassador of run of 30 000 km. It is necessary to regulate also gaps after grinding in and polishing of valves and saddles of valves, after camshaft replacement. In these cases through 1000 km of run it is necessary to check repeatedly gaps in a drive of valves on the warm engine.
| PERFORMANCE ORDER
| 1. To uncover heads of the block of cylinders.
| 2. To turn a cranked shaft so that camshaft cams on the checked cylinder were turned up. By Shchup to measure a gap between a cam and a pusher and to write down the received result. In the same way to measure gaps of valves on all other cylinders. Shchup should move in a gap with appreciable effort. Sequence of adjustment of gaps the following: 1st, 3rd, 4th and 2nd cylinders. Will turn a cranked shaft easier if to turn out spark plugs.
| 3. If the gap differs from admissible, it is necessary to replace an adjusting washer. For this purpose to turn a cranked shaft so that the piston in the checked cylinder was not in VMT. Then the special adaptation to press a pusher and to "drown" it so that it was possible to remove an adjusting washer from it. On a pusher from above there are two cuts, facilitating washer removal. Having removed a washer, to look, what thickness is written on a reverse side of a washer. Having compared thickness of a washer to the measured gap, to calculate thickness of a washer which it is necessary to establish. Let's say that the gap measured on the final valve, is equal 0,15 mm, and a nominal gap of 0,45 mm. Means, the gap is less, than it is necessary, on 0,3 mm. Thickness of the adjusting washer which has been removed from a pusher, 3,60 mm. Means, the thickness of a new adjusting washer should be 3,60 – 0,30 = 3,30 mm.
Prevention. It is forbidden to turn the crankshaft at the removed adjusting washer since thus the camshaft can damage a pusher.
|4. To establish new adjusting washers an inscription down, to a pusher.
|5. To establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders with new laying.
If made only adjustment of gaps (without repair of a head of the block, grinding in of valves etc.) to check gaps after extra earnings of details through 5000 km. If adjusting washers are not worn-out and are not damaged, at removal they can be used repeatedly. Definition of a technical condition of hydropushers of valves (see subsection 220.127.116.11).
