GENERAL INFORMATION

Tension regulator with a shchetkoderzhatel

1–brush;

2–shchetkoderzhatel;

3–tension regulator;

And – distance from edge of brushes to an end face of a shchetkoderzhatel

Prevention

Replacement of brushes of the generator make without removal of the generator from the car.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To disconnect a wire from the "minus" plug of the storage battery.

2. To unscrew two bolts 19 (see fig. Details of the generator of Bosch firm).

3. To remove a regulator of tension 18 with a shchetkoderzhatel.

4. To measure distance And (see fig. A tension regulator with a shchetkoderzhatel) from an end face of a shchetkoderzhatel to edge of brushes (i.e. as far as brushes from a shchetkoderzhatel act) which should make at new brushes of 13 mm, minimum admissible distance – 5 mm.

5. If distance And less than 5 mm, it is necessary to replace a tension regulator together with a shchetkoderzhatel (if replacement of brushes is required).

6. To check, whether brushes in shchetkoderzhatel easily move.

7. To establish a tension regulator on the generator.

8. To twirl bolts.

9. To attach a wire to the "minus" plug of the storage battery.
