GENERAL INFORMATION

Generator fastening

1–generator;
2–bolt of fastening of an arm of the generator;
3–bolt of fastening of an adjusting level;
4–a bolt of fastening of the generator to a level;

5–adjusting level;
6–generator arm;
7–bolt of fastening of the generator

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect a wire from the "minus" plug of the storage battery.
2. To unfasten spring fastening and to take out a connecting block of electric wires.
3. To disconnect from the generator a "weight" wire if is available.
Prevention

Fastening of the generator can be two types: the adjusting level is from above and the adjusting level is from below. The description for the bottom provision of an adjusting level is given. All operations with the top situation are similar.

4. To weaken the top bolt 7 (see fig. Generator fastening).
5. To turn off a bolt 4.
6. To turn the generator 1 to the engine.
7. To remove a belt of a drive of the generator.
8. To turn out a bolt 7.
9. To remove the generator 1.

Installation

Installation of the generator make in sequence, return to removal, thus it is necessary to adjust a tension of a belt of a drive of the generator (see subsection 12.2.6).
