GENERAL INFORMATION

Tension check on contacts 2 and 4 control units

1–connecting block;

2–control unit

Check the control unit at the serviceable coil of ignition in the following order:

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect a block 1 from the control unit. To include ignition and to measure tension between contacts of 2 and 4 blocks, as is shown in drawing. Tension should make about 12 In (tension of the storage battery). If tension differs from specified, it is necessary to find and eliminate break in conducting.
2. To switch off ignition and to connect a block 1 to the control unit.
3. To disconnect a block 18 (see fig. Transistor system of ignition) from the ignition distributor.
4. To connect the voltmeter to plugs 6 and 4 of the coil of ignition. To include ignition and to measure tension. It should be not less than 2 In and through 1–2 with should reduce to zero. If it does not occur, it is necessary to replace the control unit and the ignition coil.
5. To connect a wire the central contact of a block 18 to "weight", tension should raise till 2 Century. Otherwise to replace the control unit.
6. To switch off ignition. To connect the voltmeter to extreme contacts of a block 18. To include ignition and to measure tension. It should be equal 5 V.Esli is not present, it is necessary to check conducting.
